Parkview Domestic Watch October 2008
Our topic for the meeting in October is a Lesson Review of the 2nd half of the lessons delivered during this year and is an interactive question and answer presentation to motivate domestics to recall what they have learned. The date of the meeting is Friday, 31 October at 10am at St Columba’s Church.
This also serves to remind all employers that we are selling tickets this year to assist with all the costs for the year end certificate of attendance function and the domestics should try and purchase them if they are going to attend at the October meeting.

If anyone is able to contribute something into the Party Packets, I have itemize some suggestions below:
A glass, mug, caps, lanyards, lip ice, hand cream, sweets, suckers, candles, pencils, pens, pads, key rings, picture frames, vitamins, a comb, sewing kit, first aid kit, cold drink, tissues, purse, wallet, face cloths, name badges, soap, shampoo sachets, matches, shower caps, pepper sprays, movie tickets, condoms, calendars, sponges, pain killers, pot scourer, cell phone stickers, aids booklets, free courses, gift vouchers, DVD’s, a packet of biscuits etc.
I am also looking for prizes for the Lucky Draw
I am on a mission to fill 1000 Party Packets – so if anyone has a company that has samples of anything appropriate every little thing offered will truly be appreciated. Alternatively we expect approximately 120 domestics to attend from your suburb.
Any person wishing to donate financially this too will be appreciated – we have a multitude of expenses for this occasion and if Lucky Draw gifts are not donated we would have to purchase them.
Please contact me either telephonically or via email if anyone is able to contribute towards this extremely important occasion – one where our precious domestics will get the recognition they deserve and spoilt – it is only one day in the year but so important to them. These meetings are intended to be highly motivational. It is working!
The normal R20 donation for the October meeting will also be appreciated. The R20 donation enables MAD Domestic Watch to keep running and is truly appreciated.
Sincerely
