The Ridge come out top at local hockey festival
The Ridge 1st XI hockey participated in the centenary hockey festival at King Edward Preparatory School and won the tournament, having competed against high calibre schools including Pridwin, KEPS, St. John’s and St. David’s. The team is Brian Pfaff (captain), Nicholas Colley (vice captain), Ben Johnston, Murray Leith, Stuart Stopforth, James Wales, Dominic Pickard,Tom Webber (not in pic), Tom Fleming, Walter Pfaff (not in pic), Daniel Coughlan and Christopher Brownlee and the coach is Mr J Fourie.A display of skill and commitment, of which the boys can be proud, ensured that the trophy will now have a new home for a year at The Ridge School. Congratulations boys!
