Greenside High School wins the RAPS play festival

The experience for the cast has been a momentous one.

The adjudicator, Greg Homann, remarked that it was the best festival in his 7 years of adjudication.

Charmi Bonnet directed and acted in the play Jacques…or Obedience by Eugene Lonesco, an absurd playwright. His plays are very difficult to interpret and Charmi’s understanding was portrayed to the cast who “got the point of the play exactly” according to the adjudicator.

There was just no criticism that they could level at the play. Clayton Alexander won the best supporting actor, and Greenside also received nominations for Best Actress, Best Actor, Best ensemble, Best set design, Best costumes and Best sound.

The experience for the cast has been a momentous one.

Greenside High is very proud of Charmi and the cast! Greenside will be having their in-house plays festival in the next few months. These plays are always of a very high standard and tickets will be available for the public.

Greenside High will advise you on this website when tickets will be available.
