After extensive collaboration, followed by a lengthy period of research and development, Chrissanthie Cosmetics was established in June 2011 by Dr. Chrissie Cockinos (CEO), Christine Deist (Technical Director) and Liana Shaw (Sales & Marketing Director).

The brainchild of Dr.Cockinos – a leading ophthalmologist operating out of the Sandhurst Eye Centre – Chrissanthie Cosmetics is a locally produced range of anti-ageing eye care products and a full beauty body care range that is designed specifically for the South African climate. As such, incorporating a high SPF into as many of its products as possible is a primary focus for this young, dynamic company, alongside providing the South African consumer with a leading edge beauty range at a competitive price.

An innovative eye care range forms the core of the business, featuring eye cream, rich eye cream (for mature skins), eye serum (ideal for minimising unwelcomed crow’s feet, puffiness and dark circles) and a ground-breaking eye-lid cleanser (hypo-allergenic and suitable for use on blepharitis patients).

This is the only locally produced eye care range (Chrissanthie is manufactured by Brunel Cosmetics) to enjoy the backing and endorsement of a leading ophthalmologist, an important consideration when developing products for the eye area, which is sensitive, prone to allergic reactions and traditionally, also the first place on the face to reflect the signs of ageing.

Accompanying the eye care range is the luxury body care range comprising: hand cream; body lotion; shower gel; bath foam; liquid soap, linen spray and a ‘miracle’ heel balm to instantly sooth painful, cracked heels.

Retailing via selected premium outlets, independent pharmacies and optometrists, the Chrissanthie beauty range of products can also be purchased online via the website.
