Marita and her daughter, Esther Lamprecht, launched the boutique in 2000. They found a need to return to a comfortable, non-intimidating personal shopping getaway. One of the services that they offer, besides quality clothing, is a free personal styling service.
Passionate about self-esteem and body image, Marita has an exceptional eye for re-styling her clients. Marita says’ “Our passion is to style real people, real bodies, and to see you enjoying a boost in your confidence and self-esteem”.
Lavish ensures good service, knowledgeable staff and a welcoming environment. There is a distinctive and well-curated range of stock. They cater to the local and international market but also have an identity that is shaped by Lavish’s comfortable surroundings.
But there is something else too, a real sense of belonging. This type of shopping experience could not exist anywhere else. The décor of the shop was designed by Marita and her Esther, which radiates a professional and relaxed feel. The shop shows off the clothing in an innovative and fresh way, giving the brands a new energy. “I think it was a way to rediscover what the brands could be. With us, clients can see their clothes look different,” said Marita.
